Hi, I'm Emily!
I have been working in Adult Education for the last 5 years. I love being able to be a part of a students journey and see their growth. In my most recent position I've had the opportunity to bring back my design skills to improve the design of our Soft Skills program, assist with our student onboarding training, and lead projects that allow me to incorporate Adult Learning Principles to engage students and drive their learning success.
My Story
Outside of work, I am also an Aerial Silks Instructor part-time. I started instructing shortly before working in Adult Education and wouldn't be the person I am today in my career without the skills I have gained in this profession. In both roles, I have learned how to better facilitate adult learning effectively.
A successful Adult Learning Experience is tied to an individuals specific goals, personal and professionally. With this, I tailor my approach and curate learning experiences that resonate with a learners aspirations. Both my roles allow me to see a diverse spectrum of adult learning styles firsthand. By embracing this diversity, I am constantly inspired to develop new learning solutions that create an engaging and motivating environment that drives success.
